Fish Tycoon, though, is not just an aquarium sim. Sell some of your fish in your store and with the money that you earn, buy supplies, special chemicals and ornaments to customize your own tank. Over 400 different species of fish to discover. Your ultimate goal is to breed your fish until you discover which combinations will create the 7 Magic Fish and solve the genetic puzzle. Version 1 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Version: Fish Tycoon 1
Pros: The fact that it is a virtual aquarium makes it a great pet orientated game. The only way you can kill the fish is by not feeding them or breeding rare breeds if you haven't got the right environment in the tank. They are the perfect pets! Great game and the graphics are cool too
Cons: The only thing is you must remember it's a real time game - i.e. takes ages for the game to progress. In an hour you won't get that much done. With it taking about 10 mins with the game running twice the full speed to actually get baby fish. But it gives you a good taster of what the full version is like. Be careful, it is easy to run out of money quickly so spend wisely!
But Beware... if you do get the full version, it will be very hard to keep track of the fish you breed as there are so many combinations and breeds. you really have to think it through as different fish combinations can still produce breeds you have already discovered.

Version: Fish Tycoon 1
"Fun, addictive, easy, won't get you fired, pretty fish"
Pros: Easy to learn, fun, addictive.
Great for the busy person who likes games that last a while but who does not have the time to play for hours at a go.
You can do the housework, your homework, write reports etc. whilst playing.
More fun that tamagotchi and less irritating.
Good enough that I bought the full version.
Cons: Not for someone who wants to spend hours and hours glued to the screen while immersed in the game.
Pregnant female fish can get other female fish pregnant also, which is kind of odd.

Version: Fish Tycoon 1
"Dull, pointless, and non-educational"
Pros: My 4 year old liked clicking on the fish and making them swim away.
Cons: Dated graphics and dull gameplay. The opposite of educational since the fish are all imaginary, and their reproductive methods define reality. (Place two formerly pregnant fish together, and "poof" one of them is pregnant.) Maybe I was expecting too much.

Version: Fish Tycoon 1
Pros: It is so addicting that I can't stop playing.
Cons: So far everything is awsome.
-
Version: Fish Tycoon 1
Pros: The whole "REAL TIME" thing about it. You come back later and the fish have changed!
Cons: Nothing really. Just would be good if it more options? More money?
