"NOT FREEWARE!"
Cons: It says there are no limitations on this editor, but that's just not true. This is not freeware since it comes with a 30-day limitation before you have to purchase a license for it. If I had known this, I never would have downloaded and installed it. I wish Download.com would stop listing these scams in with the freeware.

Funny how its still got a decent 4 star rating. many ppl should rate this and send a message to them that really need to listen to the ppl.
This review is correct, not freeware and if that was the case I would say fine and deal with the quirks and bugs, but for commercial software, that is poor. They are just in it for the fast all mighty dollar. They are good marketeers I will give them that.
Plus how would you rate their business practices? Have you dealt with them before? I encourage all people to speak about them cuz they obvious are not listening.

Not only that but they took down the forum and there is no support and when ppl started to take notice, they closed the forum down.
I was a follower of this once great software that now has turned in to a pack of so many lies. I will not even go to their site. What a waste.

I've been using free version of EvrSoft First Page for about three months. It still works. I initially tried to pay for it, but I could not get a response from EvrSoft. Now that I realize it is so sloooooooow, I'm no longer interested in buying.

This might not be Download.com's fault. This program [ First Page Ver. 2.0 ] was free. In fact it is still listed on Evrsoft's website as being available. *However*, when you click on downloading it, you are put to their page for downloading Ver 2006 3 which *is not* freeware. I have Ver 2.0 and it is a good editor for me.

Do I take it from the first reply that you can still use it after 30 days, you just get the nag screen, so it's down to your conscience whether or not you register?

I agree that it is a little annoying that it is described as free, without reference to a nag screen until you install, but it is still an exceptionally good program which you don't have to pay for. That's free in my book.
