This screensaver helps you celebrate Christmas by reminding you why the holiday exists in the first place. Unlike many Christmas screensavers, this one doesn't show Santa Claus, reindeer, or snowy scenes. Instead, First Christmas Screensaver recreates the birth of Jesus, complete with Mary, Joseph, the manger, and various farm animals. In terms of graphics, the program boasts a mostly decent appearance, though some users may wish there were more contrast between the stable and the night sky. We also found the movement of the figures to be somewhat robotic. The Nativity scene is accompanied by a vocal rendition of "Silent Night," but you can turn it off if you find it detracts from the ambience. Unfortunately, you won't find any other mentionable features. However, since First Christmas Screensaver is basically free with the exception of a nag screen, we still think it makes a nice pick for those seeking a Christmas screensaver with a more spiritual subject matter.

Developer's Description

Create a Christmas atmosphere and bring a classic Christmas scene to your desktop.
Bring a beautiful and classic Nativity scene to your desktop. Hand-painted scenery comes to life with animated characters: Mary and Joseph attend the baby Jesus while sheep and donkey watch from their stalls. Candlelight flickers in Bethlehem, and the guiding star shines above. An original a cappella version of "Silent Night" completes the scene.
