  Version: Firefox Portable 3.0.3

  "Da Best!! -(see below to make a great "normal" version)"

  Pros: 3.0.3 better for me than 3.0.4. for browsing. "4" lagged and "page not found" sometimes. Got it working well by manually selecting install in Program Files, in Program Files open "Firefox Portable", create shortcut of Firefox Icon, (continued below)

  Cons: open Firefox from this icon, at top of browser click tools, then options, advanced, general, and then select Firefox as default. Icon then created on start menu is the only "true" Firefox--operate, make shortcuts, adjust settings only from this icon.

  I find completely uninstalling and deleting a version of Firefox (icons, settings, program files and all) before installing a new version works best.

  whats the diff tween the regular 3.03 and the 'portable' ?
  I am new to firefox.
