Version: FireTune for Firefox 1.1.2
"Great Optimizer For Those Of You Scared To Do It Yourself!"
Pros: This Is a great tool for those of you who do not like to make changes to your systems on your own!
The optimizations are correctly placed into the about:config window of Firefox. A lot of research went into these optimizations,
and Total Idea makes it easy for the inexperienced computer users!
Cons: Only one:
There is no need to keep the software stored on the hard drive after you take your Firefox in for its tune up!
The changes are set to stay. If for some reason you need a tune up again - it would
have been after issues that would delete the software anyway!

"May speed up Firefox depending on your bandwidth and computer specifications"
Pros: It can safely adjust firefox to the best ouput without the need of hacking firefox through about:config and can adjust the memory usage of the browser
Cons: It can be useless if you have lightning fast broadband like 5mbps or so and with high RAM. If you want to optimize the firefox by yourself, you can just type about:config to the address bar and open the firetune help then some scrollings then you can do it by yourself... if you want.

Pros: It made mine go fairly faster than before. It helps alot if you have alot of add-ons. :D
Cons: Hmmm nothing really :P

Pros: easy to use...
Cons: TOO easy to use...because it doesn't work. I tried over and over using the instructions in the help file to time different websites. Half the time it was SLOWER. now we're only talking a couple hundredths of a sec here, but still...
One test gave me 1.783 sec before I tuned it, and 2.104 AFTER....
Now, this is a very fast PC on a very fast connection (I'm at work for an IT company, what can I say?) so I don't think FireTune can really do anything I already haven't done....
I can't speak for a slow PC / connection...maybe it'll actually do something, maybe not...
