Version: FinalBurner Free 1.19.0.102
Pros: It's free.
Cons: Install fell over part-way through ("Can't register mpgfiltr.ax").
But the .exe was there so I ran it to see what would happen. Seemed to run OK at first. Fell over with a "Debug Assertion" (What's that still doing in the release version??) while trying to erase a CD-RW, but maybe that's to do with the installation failure. Didn't manage to get it to write anything, but that may be due to my elderly drive not recognising 800MB CD-Rs. Hmmm, maybe. Or maybe not.
Worst problem, is running Uninstall.exe just re-runs the full installation. No genuine option to uninstall is provided. So will have to delete it and erase from the registry by hand.
OS: Win2K SR4 on Dell C-Series Latitude.

"The only DVD burner that I got to work"
Pros: All the other free DVD burning software I tried couldnt' burn DVD's or burnt them as files. This one actually made A DVD that was good quality and I could play on my DVD player. It also looks quite good and shows the video as its being decoded so that you can check you have got everything right. It can also burn DivX and Xvid files which I thought was good.
Cons: It took a long time to decode an average length film, 4 hours, but at least it worked unlike the rest I downloaded and it is free so I am happy.
It couldn't burn the file properly when it was in mpeg2 format the colour was wrong. But when I burnt the Xvid file everything was fine.

Version: FinalBurner Free 1.19.0.102
Cons: Like dave0422 said, it can't burn ISOs. That's all I ever need this kind of program for (I think Windows XP can burn regular data CDs all by itself) so I didn't bother keeping it.
