Pros
I like the password feature and especially the adult filter. I also love the fact that you can update the filter list quite often.
Cons
none that i've seen thus far.

The program is not everything the company claims. It allows popups to get through. The program will not remove with its uninstaller and the company does not offer support through email.

This program works great! I have downloaded several 'popup blockers' and none worked until FilterGate. Be advised that you HAVE to read the instructions before using - clean out cache and remove spyware - for it to work properly. Using Windows 98

Filtergate DOES stop popups.. However, it also does a fine job of blocking HTML code, returning errors in, for instance, Google and stopping
Download.com and CNET.com from opening up. Before you asked, yes, I did exclude all three sites from filtering, and no, it didn't seem to take this in account. altogether, I rate it 2 out of 10. I would have given it a one, but ease of installation, and removal, were above par. -
