Version: Filseclab Personal Firewall Professional Edition 3.0.0.16
"Great protection...and it's FREE!"
Pros: Filseclab Personal Firewall is the best free firewall on the market in my opinion. In fact I think it is as good as any of the paid ones also. It blocks all unwanted intrusions and will ask you about safe ones the first time they try to enter the internet. I recommend you try Filseclab and I give it 5 stars and two thumbs up!
Cons: For some reason Microsoft Security Center, which is on all XP SP2 pcs, doesn't recognize this firewall and will put that annoying red security emblem in your system tray telling you that you have no firewall enabled. Hopefully this can be corrected soon, because you shouldn't run two firewalls and need to disable the windows firewall after you install Filseclab

Go with all said here, except the red MS emblem. I don't think you did your homework. Under Settings you get a Check Auto stop Win Firewall (XPSP2). Surely this is the kind of thing one does when first testing a new app. Read everything, set everything. Surely, only then can you test fairly, or am I missing something?

You need to disable or uninstall your current firewall first..it doesn't want to be replaced by Filseclab, and is blocking it. Unfortunately there is not any support e-mail for Filseclab Personal Firewall. Since I wrote this review over a year ago I have switched to Comodo firewall, which I feel is a better product.

I've tried 5 times to download this, which it does no problem, but, doesn't open. Now wizard, nowhere to be found on the computer.
Do you know if there is somewhere on this sight I can email for technical support. Any help, much appreciated. Nmb

i'm going to write software, lots of titles...... i don't want to make a penny on it. i'm only going to write it so i can pay goldengreeke to write positive reviews. sure.......i'll end up living in a box..... but webgirl will be busy copy and pasting her same boring reply to the reviews.

Thanks to you I tried this firewall and I did test it through Sygates Security Scan and Symantecs Security Check and it passed all the scans. That, because, all ports were hidden (stealth mode)and that is, I think, fantastic! Best Regards Bjorn Lundahl, Gothenburg, Sweden

THRILL SHILL STRIKES AGAIN!
ANOTHER RAVE REVIEW from goldengreek, as usual.
Your comments such as, "Terrific Software!" and "5 huge stars and two thumbs way up!", have become meaningless because you lavish them on so many applications.
Another thing I wonder about is how you manage to get so many positive user comments on your reviews.
I have also noticed that many of your reviews manage to garner 20 or more positive user comments within mere minutes of your posting them. Why you must have 20 or 30 people who are on standby at all times, hanging on your every word here, ready and willing to give you a positive rating.
You really should start your own religion or run for President or something.
