"Does the job for me."
Version: FileZilla 3.5.3
Pros
I maintain three web sites, will soon add a fourth and possibly a fifth. FZ has done the job for me from Day One -- simple (I'm experienced but not an expert), intuitive (although getting through the first upload took a little fumbling, but no prob after that), easily updated, not a resource hog, free -- what's not to like?
Cons
Nothing I've found.
Summary
I have FZ installed on three computers and recommend it to friends and family who need FTP software.

"Can't find file folders in Documents or sub folders."
Version: FileZilla 3.5.3
Pros
Easy to sign on with. That's it because the Cons outweigh any other advantage
Cons
As the title says you cannot locate some folders in your computer's My Document, these just don't show up in Filezilla. You go to a folder that does appear. After opening this folder to locate another folder contained within and some of the folders low and behold don't exist. Either way if you can't get to a file in the "invisible" folders the FTP program is useless.
Makes the program worthless. Is it worth my time to go through documentation to find out why this occurs? No. If the above glitch occurs because I have a file open in that folder, then the program is still useless.
I would give a half star if I could.Summary
Don't waste your time downloading. Some My document folders (and sub-folders which the folders that do appear)are just not there.

"Easy to use and download"
Version: FileZilla 3.5.3
Pros
Simple screen shots, good help file available, I am an older user (in my 60's) and maintaining our web site - I use it in conjunction with KompoZer.
Cons
I have not yet found out how to save my log in sequence - you may not be able to - it does make me remember the host name, user name and password though!
-
"Does what it's supposed to do."
Version: FileZilla 3.5.3
Pros
Free, and works like it's supposed to work.
Cons
None that I can think of.
-
"Only works half the time!"
Version: FileZilla 3.5.3
Pros
When it works, it's easy to use, and very fast.
Cons
Doesn't connect half the time
Summary
I've used this program for both my websites about 8 times. Half the time I can't get it to connect. The other half of the time the program is flawless. I need something that always connects, not just 1 time out of 2. Of course it could be Earthlink, but since this is the program they recommend using, it should work all the time!
-
"fast, easy to use, reliable, trouble-free"
Version: FileZilla 3.5.3
Pros
Simple but full-featured intuitive interface.
Starts instantly, so you don't need to keep it running "just in case".
Remembers systems you connect to along with login data, for one-click access.
Directory-tree display on both sides, drag-and-drop file transfer.Cons
Can't think of one. I can't even think of a feature I would like to see added or improved.
Summary
Too often, "easy to use" means limited options, and no way for experienced users to just get the job done. FileZilla redefines the term. Novices should have no problem transferring files without instruction, and experienced users have all the options they are likely to need. FileZilla just works, easily and well.

"Easy summary: it works"
Version: FileZilla 3.5.3
Pros
I use Microsoft Sharepoint 2007 for most of my web stuff, but occasionally it will not connect like it is supposed to, so I use Filezilla. Like other reviewers, I use it only occasionally, but when I do need it, I'm glad it is there and easy to use.
Cons
none, really.
Summary
Works like it is supposed to. Easy to use interface. I used to use CUTEFTP but it will not work with Windows 7. This program does work with 7.
