I'm a webmaster who runs a small site and I've used Filezilla for a while, and it does everything I need it to do, and isn't hard to learn.
Cons
I haven't run into any, personally. It's never given me problems.

Pros
This program is very good. It allows you not only to make normal FTP, but also Secure FTP like with an SSH connection and others. You can just drag and drop files from one side (local) to the other (server) or vice-versa. It is also free even for commercial uses, which is great. It's the first and only FTP client that I found since years that allows all that completely for free !
