  "Does what it is supposed to do. No surprises."

  Pros

  I needed a way to quickly access and identify invisible and system level files, and open the containing folders in the finder. FileExaminer does that readily.

  Cons

  Not for beginners - less intuitive if you don't understand how the Mac OS file structure is supposed to work. For the user with at least some knowledge, you can do some real damage if you don't know what you are doing.

  Summary

  For me it was well worth the $10 fee. It answered a need, quickly and without fuss.

  "Great Product"

  No need to go to the terminal to fix permissions problems on shared folders. This utility has saved the day numerous times. I'm a graphic designer with some Mac admin responsibilities. My IT guys are always impressed when I pull out this tool -- how well it works, and how easy it is to use.
