Publisher's description
From FileMaker :With a fresh new interface, FileMaker Pro 10 delivers the most dramatic design changes in over a decade. The redesigned and customizable Status Toolbar - similar to browser toolbars - puts commonly used FileMaker Pro features, previously only accessible from the main menu, right at users' fingertips for streamlined navigation, better workflow and time-saving shortcuts.
Other major new features, such as the ability to save the results of a search, and Script Triggers, which launch scripts triggered by user actions or based on time limits, make using databases easier than ever before.

Version: FileMaker Pro 10
"Powerful, but easy to customise and use"
Pros: Imported all my files from a previous database through Excel. Easy to customise the fields.
Cons: I could not find a way to produce booklets, like directories. I got around it by exporting to PDF and using the book-printing facility of Adobe Reader 8. The should be a more direct way!
Summary: I dislike the lack of inbuilt booklet printing. (If it is there and I have missed it, please let me know.) I dislike the cost of buying the program. What am I going to do when my trial period is up?!
