CNET Editors' review
Though it can't be considered a comprehensive privacy suite, this application permanently deletes files and removes your online and offline tracks. File Wipe is rather simple, and most users won't have a problem using the clearly defined buttons on the interface. You can easily add files or an entire folder you want to delete, and it takes a minute or two to complete the cleanup. The program can also clean tracks from several Windows system areas and Web-surfing history by deleting cookies and cached Internet files, but the latter is exclusively for Internet Explorer users only. It can clean tracks of third-party applications, but supports only a few programs, including Adobe Acrobat Reader, Media Player, WinRAR, and WinZip. In our tests, File Wipe effectively destroyed our selections and displayed the ongoing process as it worked. You'll find a couple of government-standard erasing algorithms to choose from, and you can also specify the number of wipes. Overall, we have nothing to complain about File Wipe, and we think it is well suited for home users who want to make sure deleted files will stay that way.Publisher's Description

"It is a deeply dangerouse spyware, taking snapshots"
Version: File Wipe 2
Pros
It looks like a nice freeware that some body do and give for every one around the world, in too much lenguages for only one person to translate for free. :\
Cons
I used it a couple of times and one of them I had the TaskInfo started and take a look at why whipe was taking so many time, and my HD was runing like crazy.
Whipe File, was doing a Data Base of all mi files, not just those I wanted to delete.Summary
If you realy have sensitive data to erase, Do not give that job to this company, they are or work for some body very very interested specialy in those things you want to destroy for ever, and scan all your disk and then send to some one, I dont know where, that give it for you to use for free.
Don't be fool, and try another way to destroy your Credit card and bank account numbers or your SS and the DOB you put in facebook.
Sorry if I scare you, but dont't be a fool. -
"I can't believe that they do not use a secure server for purchasing."
Version: File Wipe 2
Pros
Nice program, does what it says it does. Couldn't recover anything it wiped. Like the 30 day free trial.
Cons
Only problem I have is that their page for purchasing the software is a non-secure page.
