Sirisoft's Splitter is a stand alone tiny file split utility to split a large file into smaller files so that they can be easily copied to floppy disks, memory sticks or transferred via e-mail. Sirisoft's Splitter allows you to split a large file into smaller files and create a standard .bat file that can be used to reconstruct a copy of the original file. Version 1.5.1 better GUI (with Drag & Drop feature) and the split files also get accumulated in a folder for better handling of split files.

"How many of these do we need ?"

Pros: Nothing new...

Cons: What in God's name does the world need with yet one more file splitter ? ! ! !

Version: File Splitter 1.5.1

"Doesn't work"

Pros: Creates a subdirectory to contain all parts. This might also be a con, so there should be a setting to let the user decide.

Cons: Doesn't work: the subdirectory only contains the batch file to reassemble the parts, the parts are nowhere to be found.
Based on the content of this batch file, we can see that the parts would get a different name than the original file, which may be confusing with many split files.
