From Sherrod Computers :The extremely easy-to-use File Renamer allows you to rename many files at once based on a wide set of options, even while viewing thumbnails. You can rename MP3 files based on ID3v1 and ID3v2 tags, and you get a tag editor. The renaming features apply to sequential numbers, letters, dates, file filters, and you can find or replace part of the filename. You can delete characters, put letters in uppercase or lowercase, add or remove file extensions, and place separators in multiple locations.
Version 4.0.1 supports Windows Vista and includes user interface redesign.

"Does this job very, very well and very, very fast."
Pros: Very useful in today's world of digital images with same names. Used to rename file name duplications from digital camera.

"Good solution but very limited in basic version"
Pros: Well designed. Easy to use.
Cons: Very limited in basic version. Even undo function doesn't work here.

Cons: Earlier versions of Windows need this. Later versions have this native function, but this would make it easier if the free version wasn't so limited.

"Free, easy to use, works as I'd want it to work"
Pros: Great free software and it renamed the pictures in exactly the fashion I wanted it to. It saved me a bunch of time.
Cons: No complaints.
