"Does what it says it does; no fuss, no frills"
Version: File Juicer 4.25
Pros
I use it to extract flash videos from various sources while browsing. Hasn't failed.
Cons
Filtering of discovered files can be better. For example, to get at a video file, I have to trash lots of other junk.

"Indispensible tool for opening the un-openable"
Version: File Juicer 4.19
Pros
Been using File Juicer for a long time and thus far it has never let me down. Has pretty much opened every file that has given me trouble or is foreign to OS X. Check out their list of files http://echoone.com/filejuicer/formats/formats it can open.
Cons
Looks a little bit odd when it gets to working on files but that's a matter of getting used to it.

"Trial didn't work."
Version: File Juicer 4.19
Pros
The description sounds amazing.
Cons
Didn't actually do anything.
Summary
The description sounds amazing. Unfortunately, the description was as far as I got because immediately upon opening the download on my Mac (OSX 10.5.8), a dialog appeared informing me that the trial has expired, and that jpegs and gifs would be extracted, but with file juicer watermarks added. Fine. I was trying to extract mp3s from a cpgz file anyway. The preferences were set to extract files to a folder on the desktop. After dropping the file in the application, it went through motions, but no folder or files on the desktop appeared. I would love to try this software out, so if the developers can repair the trial download, that would be peachy, and I'll reassess. Thanks.

"Squeeze this App!"
Version: File Juicer 4.9.5
Summary

Haven't done much with features beyond extraction but File Juicer is definitely a must-have utility if you do any work with graphics. Pulling a vector file from a PDF publication has repeatedly saved me the time and effort of finding the right person and the correct file in the graphics department of an organization.
The application is drag-and-drop-dead-simple. The extracted files are classified/organized in folders. Intuitive is the word - won't need the manual unless you want to tap into even more powerful features (e.g., recovering files off erased flash cards, from damaged files and more).
Updates and improvements are introduced on a pretty routine basis. Can't speak much for the responsiveness of the developer because I've never had problems and therefore, never required a response. Based on my experience, Juicer truly earns its 5-star rating.
Echo One also produces Double Take for making photo panoramas - another ease-of-use winner. If you've never tried making a pano, now's the time. And no, I have no relation to Echo One - just really appreciate apps that make my work a little easier. -
"The Absolute Bomb"
Version: File Juicer 4.8

This software is, simply, the greatest thing since sliced bread. Great interface, intuitive design, does exactly what's advertised (note: and a lot more - read the help files and forums!), very stable, and reasonably priced. Can't recommend it highly enough. -

Performs better than advertised. Great customer support to boot. I had a question which I emailed and I got a personal response from the man himself.
I love this program.
