This free encryption tools ease of use makes it a great encryption tool for beginners, but more experienced users are going to want more features.
File Encryptor-NP has a self-explanatory user interface. Its slim design contains two tabs: one for encryption and one for decryption. Simply choose a tab, look up the file you want to encrypt or decrypt, and that's it. During our tests, files were successfully encrypted and placed in the encryption folder that was created when the program was installed. We were able to quickly, and just as easily, decrypt that same file. Our main gripe with the program is that it isn't password protected. Anyone can access the program and encrypt or decrypt files.
That being said, we can only recommend this program to novice users who are new to encryption software. More experienced users should continue looking for a program that offers more security features. We were able to uninstall the program without it leaving any traces.

The encryption method used will result in your files being ultimately impossible to run without first being decrypted. There was an encryption key created by Titlebar Software for the File Encryptor program and this encryption key is changed every three or four weeks. Version 2 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

"It wasnt a good product at all."
Cons: When you encrypted the file, It didnt require a password, therefore anybody could access the file.
