Version: File Chopper 3.6
"It does exactly what it say... and does it EXCELLENTLY well!"
Summary: I was looking for a utility that would simply split an 8 GB image file into smaller chunks, and couldn't find one that wasn't a MPEG/MP3/AVI specific tool, or a spyware-ridden trojan. After reading the user feedback for all the other tools, I wasn't sure I could find what I was looking for.
I took a chance on this tool, and it did exactly what I needed it to do. No frills, just simple, effective functionality.
I really liked the fact that it provides standard split sizes, AND lets me change the size of the splits (both custom and standard ones) to whatever I want.
This is an EXCELLENT tool if you're looking for an effective file splitting utility.
