Feedly Reader is an RSS reader for your iPhone or iPad that lets you collect all of the blogs you like to read in one, easy-to-browse place. Just add your favorite sites, or browse by category to find some new ones to add, and then flip through all of the latest posts with just a few swipes whenever you need something to read.

Pros

Convenient search and browse: When you're looking for fun sites to add to your feed, the app makes it easy by breaking things down into categories and then suggesting related topics. You can also choose the Explore feature that lets you browse through suggested blogs on various topics.

Integrated sharing: When you find something you just have to get out there, you can share it straight from the app. Just tap the dotted-line icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen and choose where you want to send the article from the list that pops up. Options include Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and more.

Cons

Some bugs: When we tried to log in with Facebook, we were unsuccessful on multiple tries. We eventually managed to log in with a Google account instead. But even though we weren't able to create a Feedly account via Facebook, sharing to Facebook from the app worked fine.

Disorienting navigation: The navigation of this app is meant to resemble a stack of cards that you can flip through, with each card containing a link to a post or news story. While this is a nice idea, it's easy to accidentally swipe away a card when you just meant to scroll down. And it's not possible to go back to the previous card in the stack once you've swiped it away without going back to the top and starting all over again.

Bottom Line

Feedly Reader is a good free option for an RSS reader for your iPhone or iPad. It loads quickly, offers some nice browsing and sharing options, and most importantly, lets you keep all of the items you want to read in one convenient place.
