Just grabbed this and resized AND watermarked 50+ photos in just over a minute. FAB! Had initally got Irfanview but couldn't figure out how to use it O.o This was so easy to use. Images renamed and saved in different output file with no problems.
Seems to run fine on Windows 7 as well.
Great for a starting out blogger like me!Cons

I find it very practical and excellent performer, fast with good results. The working shell could be modernized a bit, and I would like one personalized photo size, so that I would not have to tune it every time that I use it.
Cons
As above, could modernize the working panel a bit.
Summary
Overcomes a problem with the modern digital cameras that the size of the photo is not what you want to see in your photo album. For years I used Photoshop to resize one by one my snapshots. But now I find it relaxing that I can do it quickly and that is done.

small footprint, had features that my big fat photo program didn't have or didn't make easily available to make a large MB photo into a small MB photo for acceptance. Quick download, easy instructions without too much technical jargon. Best of all : EASY to use!

I shoot a ton of pictures and I keep just about every single shot even the blurry ones, just in case. The ability to resize, rotate, border, watermark, rename, and adjust the DPI on a batch of photos with just a few clicks saves me SO much post time. If this app had a fee, I'd pay it! You can also make other adjustments (color depth, brightness, saturation, contrast, etc) as well, but I rarely do that in batch mode and usually use 'shop. This is a great app and I highly recommend it.

Summary
I post pictures online and need to do two things: resize and put in watermarks. FastStone enables me to do this in batches, saving a ton of time. It works more quickly and reliably than Windows Live Photo Gallery for resizing. It's easy to figure out how to use it, though it isn't exactly intuitive, and once your figure it out it's just a few clicks to do everything you want. It's perfect for a non-professional photographer like me.
