"Great for the basics"

Pros
I'm a novice at photo editing, and I need software to do a few basic things. FastStone does exactly what I need it to.
Cons
My only complaint is that the Save As feature assumes I'm saving a batch, and it's clunky to use for each image. I haven't figured out how to Save As for 1 image at a time.
Summary
So glad I found this. I tried several over the last few weeks, and this one wins hands down. I even have Photoshop Elements, but it's too complicated for me given what I need to do with images. I resize, crop, and add blank space to the edges of product images so they display properly on an ecommerce store.

Pros
Very good quality results when editing, including enlargements. I've tried the various filters when resizing for optimum results. Easy to use. I like the ability to drag and drop images into the screen from my folders.
Cons
Preview screen for adjustments is a too wide for my monitor - the right side is not completely visible. Crop feature is difficult to use when resizing at the same time.
More of a wish than a con: add a clean-up/smoothing feature for grainy images.Summary

This software is quick and incredibly easy to use, and offers many features that others charge for. As well as the standard "predefined" resizing, this gives you options for fixed wdith/length resizing, watermarks, cropping - everything you need.

I want to convert batches of photos to a 375 x 375 pixel format each without image distortion. I need something that is easy for me to learn. This program requires time-consuming study and practice. I think I could like this program better if I could figure out how to use it to meet my needs.
