Good graphics and cute audio make FastStone Pacman a welcome addition to the world of Pac-Man clones. The installation flies by, and the game launches on your desktop in a matter of seconds. The aim is still the same: a round yellow guy travels a maze eating points and avoiding deadly creatures. The hero can survive bumping into the bad guys only after eating a power pellet, which allows him to consume his enemy for a short time. FastStone Pacman is a well-done, faithful remake of the arcade classic. Fans of the original should enjoy it.Publisher's description

"very good pac man for children 6 - 12"
Pros: It just like the old orginal and you can pick your sound scripts. I had to change screen resolution to 800 x 600 to fill the screen but i do that with most software games.

"Great Game: Maybe a little too hard?"
Pros: This is a great game! This maze is pretty large, and a challenge to get all the dots and bullets. When you eat a "bullet," he belches. When you make a fast escape he "screams." He is given bullets, and gets more with each bullet that he eats. You can fire from front (shift) or behind (control). This game is configurable for a joystick. I'm just using the arrow keys, and it seems a bit daunting.
Cons: Full Screen options would be great. It appears that the software developer is not making any further developments to this game, though.

"Arcade remake of the original pacman"
Pros: Quick and easy to learn. Original layout.
Cons: Only 7 levels of difficulty (which only changes the number of bad guys chasing you). The program keeps changing the difficulty level during a round without telling you (sometimes up and sometimes down). Also, you cannot change the keys used to fire the gun & theres a maximum of only 6 rounds allowed at one time.
