    "Still not fixed"

    April 30, 2012  |   By dangnad1

    Pros

    Choices and ease of use.

    Cons

Still cannot capture just a scrolled frame in Firefox.

    Summary

Ever since FF4 and IE8 Faststone Capture was just a shadow of its former self. It could not capture anything on scroll in either browser. Finally a new version 7 was released that was supposed to have solved the problem. I paid for the new v7 but the problem was only partially solved. It will capture a scrolled frame in FF7 but the red starting frame is still surrounds the whole browser and in addition to the scrolled frame it captures a "stutter" version of the rest. Now, all captures have to be cropped. It is very inelegant and kludgey and annoying. Version 7.1 didn't solve the problem.

Same problem here with firefox9 as well. Works well with Chrome, however, and fast with ie9. Good luck.

Could you please try our product, CaptureWizPro, and let me know if it solves the problem? It can scroll capture darn near anything. We want good stress testers. Thanks, Steve
