From FastStone Soft :FastStone Capture is a flexible and intuitive screen capture software. It allows you to capture anything on the screen including windows, objects, full screen, rectangle regions, freehand-selected regions, and scrolling windows/Web pages. It has innovative features such as a floating Capture Panel, hotkeys, resizing, cropping, text annotation, printing, and e-mailing. The built-in Screen Magnifier is very fun to use.
Version 5.6 adds "Send to Word" and "Send to PowerPoint" and option "Copy to Clipboard" to "Auto Save" section in the Settings.

Version: FastStone Capture 5.6
Pros: Want more to screen-capture than the dull Print Screen key? look no further, Faststone Capture can get the job done fast and easy, not only can you capture multiple screenshots and adjust the sizes of selections, you can do essential editing to the snapshots right from the screen.
Cons: If it were still free it would been a great eye-catcher. The shareware really drags it down a level.

Cons: Crap! Just 100% Crap! how in the world are they going to make us pay, when it was free not to long ago. Like some ones really going to pay 30+$ for this junk! Just use the free one. Oh and by the way -5 stars!

Version: FastStone Capture 5.6
"Great freeware (ver 5.3) tool, & portable!!"
Pros: FastStone Capture is a handy and simple screen capture utility. It does not offer as robust a feature set as competitive products such as TechSmith's Snag-IT but is great for users having basic screen capture needs.
Version 5.3 is the last freeware version available and can currently be found at "portablefreeware." This version is a portable version, meaning that it does not need to be installed and can be launched from a USB drive.
Cons: Price. Competitive products offer a more robust feature set.

Version: FastStone Capture 5.6
"The Best Software in its Catagory-Including Snag It!"
Pros: I have tested many programs and versions of capture software over the year and this one is the best so far! The least PC jams and I have not had to restart once while using this. I really don't notice much slow down with it running in the tray.
Another thing I like is it's an easy and brainless program to use but still has TONS of choices in settings.
