Version: Fast Browser Pro 7.0
"Good browser."
Summary: It has a extensive cookie manager that surpasses what I seen in other browsers. You can view and filter out undesired cookies unlike Netcaptor which you can only view and delete current cookies. Basically has the features of popular freeware browsers such as Avant Browser, but has features such as a voice function that reads webpages for you, extensive search capabilities with web preview, links filter, drag & drop support, website scan, and a particular feature I liked was the ability to navigate Windows through it's own interface via the sideabar instead of using Explorer. Website scan is not as comprehensive as Netcaptor's WhoIs, and the history deletion seems to be no different than deleting your cache from IE compared to Netcaptor which has secure deletion of session data including index.dat. A feature that casted my interest the Cross Domain Data feature, which the latest security exploit in tabbed browsers have a problem with securing information when browsing different zones. Of course you can fix this by disabling scripts, but some sites require it. In Fast Browser Pro, seems you can eliminate this without turning off scripts altogether. As far as speed, I sense no real speed edge over other browsers on my dial-up and I have not experienced any crashes. Depending on your needs, this browser could be worth 30 dollars. As shareware IE shells go, I would compare this to Netcaptor, which is another browser I recommend.
