Version: FanDraft - Fantasy Football Draft Board 7.09

Big improvement over last years version. Love the pre-draft, and the draft ticker. The reports are cool, they link with nfl.com player information pages.

"Not ready for Prime Time"
Version: FanDraft - Fantasy Football Draft Board 6.1
Pros
Nice interface, version 6 is a major visual improvement from version 4. The concept of a professional looking draft is awesome and the setup is a breeze.
Cons
This program has major bugs. We have used it for our draft for the last 3 years. The last two years we used v.4, this year was the "new and improved" v.6. The first year we used it it crashed often and had to be restarted but we didn't lose any of our draft-day data. This year with v.6 it hard crashed and would not allow us to continue our draft. Pretty embarrassing for me personally, right in front of my geek-friends. It should be labeled version 0.6 BETA. Make sure you keep a paper copy of your draft order as a backup.
Also, tons of IDP (individual defensive players) are missing. I'm not talking scrubs, there are only 32 teams in the league, each has 11 defensive starters. It shouldn't be that hard to have an updated list with the top 300 fantasy defensive players. Yes, you have the ability to add players "on the fly" but why several of the top 10 players from each position are missing is unknown and inexcusable.

"Slick Professional Draft Software"
Version: FanDraft - Fantasy Football Draft Board 6.1
Pros
Nice interface.
Player listings by rank or alphabetical order.
Up to 30 teams and 50 rounds.
Add players on the fly (if not listed).
Change team picks on the fly (useful for mid-draft trades)
Software shows team progress, to make sure you're not forgetting to draft a position
Software auto-saves for backup in case of crash.
Draft clock keeps draft moving
Cons
Missing a lot of players (especially on defense)
Counter-intuitive def player listings - the program defeats its own alphabetical listing by adding defensive position in front of player names - can take way too long to find a player.
Program crashes from time to time. (although the draft will be saved when you restart the program)

"Great alternative to other fantasy draft boards"

"Don't even bother downloading this"
Version: FanDraft - Fantasy Football Draft Board 6.09
Cons
All they give you in this demo version is the ability to draft only 1 round. How can you possibly tell what the software is like by only using one round in the draft? I would have given users the ability to draft the first 3 rounds. This way you can really get a sense of the game. It’s a waste of time downloading this software.
