"Prevx reports trojan in uninstaller"
Version: Family E-Mail Spoofer Free Version 2.0
Pros
No pros for this product.
Cons
Prevx reports a trojan in the uninstaller.
It doesn't really remove all traces of the sender as it claims.Summary
Second,it doesn't really remove all traces of the sender as it claims. With this program the message header still contains the name/IP of the sender's smtp server and the sender's IP. Just to domain name of the smtp server may be enough to identify the sender.
So one should not consider using this program if interested in truly remaining anonymous. -
"Why does C/Net Download allow this?!!!"
Version: Family E-Mail Spoofer Free Version 2.0
Pros
Absolutely nothing good about this.
Cons
The idea and supposed "fun" of sending someone a spoof e-mail is absurd, what with all of the scammers, info trolls, and phishers in existence today...and shocking for this website (CNet) to actually host a download of this program...why?
Summary
I am VERY disappointed in C/Net hosting this piece of crap; I've received enough spam and phony emails posing as my banks and financial institutions asking for personal info and I don't need an actual program to create such things...totally shocking!
NOT RECOMMENDED!
