From FairStars Soft :FairStars CD Ripper rips audio CD tracks to WMA, MP3, OGG, VQF, FLAC, APE, and WAV formats on the fly. Free CDDB is supported (querying and submitting). The program supports normalization when ripping as well as ID3 tag. It also supports playback with its built-in player. Version 1.16 adds the feature of extracting automatically without clicking the start button. Corrects the compatible problem of M3U file, also corrects the error with long title tag.

Pros: This is just as good as the ripper on winamp pro i have been using if anything it is easier to use !! very fast contains no spy/addware .. if you click query it has no problem finding the cd info title, tracks .
you can even change the skin colour if you want.. all this for free !!!
Cons: I can"t write about the cons this may have due to the amount of trolls cnet/download now have.
These low life sum are not happy to tick a review not helpful if they disagree with it they go through your profile and tick ALL your reviews not helpful.sometimes they create many acc so they can really kick you in the groin.
cnet/download choose to bury there head in the sand and hope the problem will go away..
well it wont if anything it is getting worse...
All cnet/download have to do is make it so you can only see your own profile !!!

Cons: If much simpler rippers than this one can recognise my drive, I don't see why this one shouldn't. It's not that obscure. It's a Pioneer DVR-107D. I installed FairStars CD Ripper, and uninstalled.

Pros: This is an excellent program, its one of the best flac rippers i have used. It's fast, errorless, easy to use with plenty of options and better still, it's free. Although not shown on the top of this page it works perfectly in Windows Vista Home Premium. This program just works, that's all you need to know.
Cons: The interface has a rather outdated and uninteresting look, users of Vista are especially likely to notice this. One skin 'AlphaOS' should be acceptable to most, on the bright side this simplicity means that it is not likely to use much ram or processing power.
