Ive always regarded CNET as a reliable benchmark, here I cannot say I am impressed with your 5 star review of something that on my phone is actually unusable. I would say that the facebook app for the iphone is badly designed and confusing but I never really got that far, before i deleted it, it spent 99% of the time hanging or "updating". Google facebook app on the iphone 4s and you can see it is universal - so how can this not make it to your review?

I would expect Failbook wanted to integrate facebook into the whole iphone experience - instead i wont now use facebook on my iphone at all. For such a large company to make such a terrible app that I actually deleted it is beyond belief. Shame on CNET too for a 5 star review of a product that doesnt (on the iphone 4s) work at all.
What is going on with Facebook this year, miss after miss after miss, changing everyones email addresses to their own poxy emial system, forcing timeline on everyone, a badly handled public float that further enraged people towards them and an app on the iphone that simply doesnt work. Facebook seem determined to crash into the iceberg at present.

First, I have the iPad I. I installed the app, then did the delete-reinstall routine that Facebook quixotically requires. Got the app working. And as soon as I am doing anything in the app, navigating, entering status, checking in, the application hangs.
For Fcebook, Safari is much faster and much more able. Until or unless is application gets to the point where it can challenge Fascebook on Mobile Safari, it is a waste of space on the iPad.Summary

It's facebook for your iPhone. What can be better than that? Plus, it's free so you can't really complain. I'm so glad that they made an app for it. I can now check on my account whenever I want, which is both good and bad. (Bad because now I'm on it more than ever before). This app is perfect if you're an FB junkie. Just wish it wouldn't act so weird sometimes.

It's a good app to look at when you're on the go. Gives you easy access to your facebook account and has a sleek design.
Cons
There are some bugs that can get annoying. The chat/message system and photo viewing features can definitely be worked on. The app also crashes from time to time.

The app is well designed, the features included (other than chat) work wonderfully and the design is attractive

I have to launch the app six times in order for it to finally work (it crashes the other five). The chat and photos integrations are very buggy, along with most every other feature on the app
