There are now two separate Backup Toolkit applications--one for Mac OS 8-9 and one for Mac OS X. The Mac OS X version is completely native.

New server window displays the last servers used by Backup Toolkit. Servers can be automatically mounted if necessary or or mounted manually with a simple double-click.
Fixed a multiple-volume backup error in which when compression was active, the last file of the backup could not be copied.

Under OS X, a user can activate Administrator mode with an Administrator password to grant Backup Toolkit all permissions, without the need to login as root.
A new lock/unlock feature prevent unauthorized users from changing settings or running actions.
