  Version: FTP Commander 8.0

  "Good Software"

  Pros: Easy to install and easy to uninstall. Transfers work well. Conveniently grafical user interface. Fast and certain downloads en uploads. No problem or error found with this software. Because FTP Commander is total free it is sure to recommend.

  Cons: Every time you open FTP Commander it shows the default local folder and not the folder you last opened. So you have to search with each upload and download for the right local folder to open in the right panel. But there are more FTP programs with this shortcoming. Maybe not for Vista according their website!

  Mike98 if you want this program to open in a specific directory you can make a quick shortcut to it, open the properties of the shortcut and edit the "Start in:" section and place the full path to the place you want to be in the left window. If you like you can have a few shortcuts to your regularly used upload directories, I hope this helped @: )
