FMSync for JFile Pro is Macintosh software that allows you to copy the contents of a FileMaker database directly to your Palm connected organizer with the press of a single button. With FMSync for JFile you can have the most valuable data from your FileMaker databases right in your pocket.
As good as that sounds, FMSync for JFile Pro gets even better. You can add data to your Palm connected organizer and have it automatically merged with your FileMaker database with the press of a button.
FMSync for JFile Pro can handle even the largest FileMaker databases by harnessing the power of FileMaker scripts. Say you've got a 100,000 record database with important data you want on your Palm. Even if you've got the memory, a Palm doesn't have the horsepower to search or browse through 100,000 records. But if you can write a FileMaker script that finds those vital records that you need to take with you, FMSync for JFile can execute that script and copy only the results to your Palm.
What's new in this version:
- Change name to FMSync for JFile in order to match JFile’s name change
- Incorrect handling of password protected databases in FileMaker Pro 5.0
- Error –1700 that occurs on some systems
- There is no longer a limit on the number of FileMaker databases that can be synchronized
