Pros
Light, no impact on system is felt.
Uses Bitdefender latest engine but works lighter!.
My system: Windows 7 64bits
CPU: Dual core 1.7GHZ
RAM: 3GB
F-Secure Internet Security system usage in my computer
Ram usage: 12.200 KB "fshoster32.exe" and "fsm32.exe"
CPU Usage: 0-5%
CPU usage when manual scan: 20-45%
Detection rate: Testing links score from Malc0de.com:
15 links done: 15 links blocked
Same 15 links with web filter off: 14 detected by Engine 1 by Deep Guard.
Detection rate testing links from MDL "Malware Domain List":
15 links done: 15 links blocked
Same 15 links with web filter off: 12 detected by Engine 3 by Deep Guard.
I have tested at least 10 security suites, from Outpost to Norton passing by Kaspersky, Eset, Avira, and never got a detection rate as good as this.
Interface easy to use
Easy configuration "Just the needed options, no useless settings"
Silent, no massive pop ups for taking actions.
Deep Guard works like a charm.
Support not tested.Cons
No big scope of settings for people who likes customizing a lot.
Interface my not be the best for people who likes classic interface.
The installation process took a lot of time, and the update after installing is huge!
Since its based on Bitdefender Engine, I don't know if in the future they won't be able to get the latest Bitdefender engine.Summary
My official Antivirus Suite since I tested more than 10 of these.
Very light on system resources which is amazing since it uses the well known heavy Bitdefender Engine.
My final score for this suite is 5/5 I would strongly recommend this Security suite to anyone who really needs good detection rate and web filter power.
