"V 1.01 released"
Version: Eyeline Video System 1
Pros
loads of bug fixes, the program is much more stable
Cons
it now has a paid version which could be good or bad. It means there is added functionality for the $$, or basic monitoring for free.

"Crashed repeatedly"
Version: Eyeline Video System 1
Cons
This program found my USB webcam alright, but crashed whenever I tried to use it or configure it. The camera works fine with Windows Movie Maker and SupervisionCam (also available here).

"Great product"
Version: Eyeline Video System 1
Pros
Works well - I can view recorded events remotely, which is a plus. Records on motion- saves disk space.

Having problems viewing live feeds remotely; crashes on attempts to do so; have to reboot to reset software or it will not record althouh it appears to be functioning properly.

"Meh. It's free, but not so functional..."
Version: Eyeline Video System 1
Pros
It's free. It seems to have a lot of features... Unfortunately, it didn't work with my firewire card.
Cons
Product did not "see" my firewire input properly, so video signal was just skewed noise. Program was very slow to respond, and did not truly uninstall when I tried to remove it. This mess will take a while to clean up. If you want to turn your DV camera into a security cam, go with Stoic. I've used that a few times witout issue.
