"Buy this pay rent forever to keep using it"
Version: EyeSoft 2.4.6
Pros
Looks great until you have to keep paying for it.
Cons
I bought this pricy software and not happy. My problem with it is there is no way to deactivate your registration in case you have to reinstall your system. You have to fork over an additional $8 bucks after every re-format.
Summary
Get a CCTV system American made.

"Crashes from the getgo"
Version: EyeSoft 2.4.6
Pros
I really don't see any.
Cons
Fails to load in XP after download. Would love to get to the configuration stage but this software has issues. Waste of my time and download.
Summary
I would not try this one again.
The software crashed on install. Then it expired. Very frustrating.

"Very expensive and poor, poor setup instructions."
Version: EyeSoft 2.3.12b
Pros
None really. Install instructions were so poor it is really trial and error to get up and running.
Cons
It may be a good product but due to the inability of the manual to go step by step you will end up very frustrated. I am a tech and install muchly and hate these poor install issues.
Summary
Do your manual over. Give us the install and setup instructions one at a time. It might b e a good program but now is frustrating.

"Good IP CCTV software with lots of features"
Version: EyeSoft 2.3.11
Pros
lots of features with an intuitive interface. Supports many cameras including my USB webcam. I tried the video analytics trial also which was really cool. The software looks slick and I like the way you can use multiple monitors.
Cons
the remote access is a bit tricky to setup because there are different modes. IE mode was OK but try the Windows Media Mode which is really good quality. Mobile access is a bit tricky to setup also but tech said a new app is in development.
Summary
One of the best IP CCTV surveillance applications I have come across especially at the price. Better suited for medium to large surveillance systems and worked really well with a 1080p megapixel camera. The 4ch version is a bit expensive but you get a lot for what you pay.

"Simple, smart and fully featured"
Version: EyeSoft 2.1.1
Pros
Firstly the IP camera recording software is very slick and comes packed with features. Overall the surveillance system is very stable and done the job I required it to do. It was simple to setup and found it easier to use than other surveillance software. Works very well on my Vista laptop without no hiccups. The quality of live & recorded video is great.
Cons
I will buy the 16ch version, shame video analytics is only on the 64ch version though.
