    "Stay Away!"

    July 27, 2011  |   By evn00b

    Pros

A couple cars to choose from

    Cons

-Staff are not trained to do anything but copy and paste rules - they cannot use their tools.
    -The "creator" is never there.
    -No one really plays
-Must pay to actually get anything good such as extra cars or even all the parts needed to compete

    Summary

Stay away at all costs, or at least DO NOT BUY ANYTHING. You're lucky to find 20-30 people online at any given time, even in the evenings, and during the daytime you're lucky to find 10 people that actually play this game. Those that log on don't even race, they just sit there and talk. New players are down talked all the time and rarely helped, while veterans get away with anything and everything.

The actual staff are useless. Most don't even play, let alone know how to do anything. They are really good at using copy and paste when you do something wrong, but leave the room when you ask for their help, and cannot use their tools in a timely or efficient manner to get anything accomplished. The creator seems to be the only person with any knowledge at all, but he never bothers to show up and do anything. If you ever have to get ahold of the owner, it takes over a week just for a response. The new players know more about the game than the game staff!

The few people that do play the game seem to strongly dislike each other and just bicker and start fights both in chat and on the forums. No one bothers to do anything about it, so it grows out of control. VERY UNWELCOMING COMMUNITY!

You have to buy a "platinum" membership to even be able to install all the parts needed to compete. If you don't, you're car is too slow to be competitive in any tournaments or any races. Pretty much a scam since NO ONE RACES and FEW EVEN LOG ON anymore. You buy a membership for $35-45 and then realize there's no one to race! I highly recommend NOT paying for a membership.

This game is good for a few hours until you try to race and realize it's pointless and not fun. If the game file size was smaller, I would recommend downloading the game to kill a few hours. Since it is quite a large file, I don't even recommend trying to play, since you will be bored and fed up with it in less time than it took to download and install (IF THE GAME EVEN WORKS! Half the time you have to submit a "trouble ticket" and wait weeks for an answer just to log on). If you just check out their forums (www.extremevelocity3d.com) you will see players begging for help from the creator (to get the game to even work, general help, and to get him to fix bugs), and get NOTHING. Furthermore, you will see how incompetent the rest of the staff are, how FEW people play the game, and how many people fight over absolutely nothing.

This seems like a rant, but like I said, just check out their forums and you will see it's entirely true.

Sorry, my ban record is completely clean. Come up with another excuse. I'm guessing you're niteprowler on the game. You are nothing but negative. To those wondering if my review is legit or not go search the forums for this guys' posts. All it is him downgrading people telling them their ideas are useless without any reasoning and that they don't need the posters' ideas.

Also, why don't you answer any helpful questions in chat? You are quick to give one word answers telling people "no" or tell people "no caps" or copy and paste other rules, but when those same people ask for actual help on how to tune a car, you suddenly go quiet, or even worse, leave the room?
