Intuitive layout, process is self evident. Options available to suite many preferences. Handles large and small projects. I created pictures-civil-war.com, a 2000 page website, with this program. Customer service answered my question quickly.

"Would be 5 Stars...But Why Pay and WAIT for a Serial #?"
Version: Extreme Thumbnail Generator 1.3
Pros
Great product, does exactly what it states, great interface, no bugs or spyware, no problems crashing the system.
Cons
Major CON, and this is a pet peeve for us. We are working all day on a project, find something on download.com to help us, order it, and as is the case about 10% of the time, have to wait days to receive a email with our registration info! Don't get it, don't like it, and does not help us much. Had to wait 3 business days, (5 days total), to receive the license on this program! Order only if you have the patience and time available to wait!

"Doesn't do what I need"
Version: Extreme Thumbnail Generator 1.3
Summary
I'm trying to create a hierarchical structure: a main index page containing a series of thumbnails. Each thumbnail leads not to a picture but to a subgallery; the thumbnails in the subgallery lead to the actual pictures. (See pbase.com for an example).
Unfortunately, both CompuPic Pro and Extreme Thumbnail Generator don't seem to have what would seem to be such a basic feature. Most people with lots of pictures wouldn't want to put all of them in one gallery. I could create a series of galleries, but then I'd need to go in and edit the HTML to link them all together, create a main page, etc. etc.
On a more general note, ETG has a bit more of a wizard-y GUI than CPP; the latter's cornucopia of features is a bit daunting for those who just want to do one thing and do it quick. -
