"Good but not perfect yet"
Pros
Fast and simple
Cons
1. misleading prompts (e.g. looking at .* you might think is wants you to enter .doc for example, where in fact it is just doc)
2. Impossible to cancel (other than answering to a yes/no window for every single file . Well , I had 1000 files to rename and had to hit damn button 1000 times ? Try it and you start to hate this small beauty in 2 min)Summary
Room for improvements. Don'r expect too much from the program. It's not a product yet

Yeah, I'm not sure you have this program or this build, or you're using it the correct way.
The best way to use Extension Changer is to open Windows Explorer, find the files you need to change the extensions of, highlight the files, right click on the highlighted files, and choose "Edit the Extension." In the box you type in the name of the extension you want to change it to. Make sure all of the files you highlighted are the same type, such as changing TXT files to DOC files, or something like that. You click Change and the program will do the rest instantly. There is no ".*" that appears in the Change box. And there are no "Yes/No" windows that pop up. The only problem I've had is when changing over 300+ extensions.
As for the person saying the program won't stay open, if you use it through Windows Explorer, then it's not an issue. You highlight, right click, and type in the new extension name. It closes so you can go on to the next group of files you want to change.
