Express Burn you create and record MP3/WAV formats to CD in Windows for free. With Express Burn you can record a CD quickly and easily by dragging the files you want onto the Express Burn icon and clicking 'Burn'. The software then does the rest, including converting the files to .cda. Audio is recorded with direct digital recording (so perfect audio quality is maintained). Audio CD burning supports wav, mp3, wma, au, aiff, ra, ogg, flac, aac and a number of other audio file formats. Can burn audio CDs in seamlessly mode (with no pause between tracks). Normalize audio volume of tracks. Supports multi session recording to Audio CD. Records CD Recordable (CDR) and CD Re-recordable (CDRW) discs. i don't know, haven't tried it yet.

it's not free. i forgot i installed it, when my other burner fails, i found it in my program files. i tried it, it said the trial already expired and i have to buy or i can't use it. i didn't buy, so i can't use it. then i uninstalled it.

someone need to change the price tag of this software. it's not free, it's trial.

The speed of this software is incredible. It'll burn a twenty song CD in three minutes max. As opposed to Windows Media taking nearly twenty minutes. It'll burn to several different types of discs. CDs,DVDs,Blu-ray. And easy to use. Great software.

None. Express Burn fulfilled every need I had in a disc burning software.

I was using the trial version and burned both CDs and DVDs. In both cases it did format conversions on the fly. I was impressed so much that I bought the program. I also like it's simplicity of use and faultless installation. I'm using Windows 7

very easy to use. works every time without slowing down my computer or crashing it (like a popular software that starts with the letter 'n')

-it is not free as described in cnets quick specs. the download is a trial with a prompt to pay after approx 10 days. The Basic version is $39.95 and the Deluxe (with DVD video) is $59.95.

-cnet should edit the description to state that this download is only a free trial. It is a grreat program and I'd be willing to pay the $60 but it is very slow to author and burn dvds. I'd be willing to pay the $40 for everything else, but would like to have something that does all burning tasks well.
