Cons
Hasn't been updated since 2002! Use GeoSetter instead.
Summary
The developer has stopped development of Exifer in 2002, and is now only publishing GeoSetter, which offers the same functionality as Exifer, and more.

For a product with EXIF in the name, it should read EXIF data, but it does not. No thumbnails either.
Summary
On JPEG images taken right form the camera it will not read the EXIF data or generate a thumbnail. Only on images I have already edited in Photoshop.
I was looking for a light program that could quickly show EXIF data without having to open Photoshop. This one doesn't work. Uninstallled within 5 minutes.
Also, there's a nag screen on startup. -
