Version: ExamDiff 1.8
Pros: 1. It is lightweight
2. I do not have to use the cmd line every time. When you open this app, the first thing it asks you is the 2 files to be compared location
3. By default it uses notepad to open your files. However, you can specify even your fav. editor. I have set up scite, though the difference is not that great
4. Many good options...some are ignore whitespace, case, specify colors, etc....
5. fast
Cons: really not, considering its free-ware, light and does what it says

Pros: Does exactly what I need easily and simply - easy to understand UI. One option I'd like to see added: show only those lines that are the SAME

Pros: I use ExamDiff to find the differences between versions of program source files. I've been very impressed by how well it works with files having a large number of additions and deletions. Best tool for the job that I've found in 25 years of software development.
