From PrestoSoft :ExamDiff Pro is a visual file and directory comparison Windows tool. It visually compares text, binary files, and directories; highlights differences down to the level of words or characters; allows file editing; includes full Unicode support; allows recursive directory comparison; allows creation of directory snapshots for later comparison; allows printing and previewing of differences reports; performs word wrapping of long lines; saves differences in text and HTML files; provides command line support.
Version 3.3 allows to select clipboard contents instead of one of files in, compare dialog, copy as Text command for directory comparison, and Save As command in text file comparison context menu.

Version: ExamDiff Pro 3.3
Summary: I don't mind paying for shareware that is useful and that I use. I do mind have a version change once a year that I have to pay $35 for a new license! This product is very good but I will not pay for a version change from 3.1 to 3.2.

"ExamDiff makes my development work faster."
Pros: I regularily use ExamDiff to help me manage software changes while I am refactoring code in a huge, Unix based, code base. I am a consultant and have found it extremely useful in multiple situations. Its configurability is very powerful. I especially like that I can compare directories, drill down in them and from the directory level, look at the changes in individual files.

Pros: Using for comparing data warehousing dimension tables, very helpful! I like the HTML output, as I can send it to a user to show them what I'm talking about.
Cons: If your data is wide, it's hard to print out the results, but you can pick and choose, based on the slide bar.
