Pros
Syncs great between the 3 computers I use, 1 desk top, and 2 laptops. Works OK even when you are off line it will sync the next time you have wifi.

I have used this program for several years and find it truely indispensible. I use it all the time mostly to save clips from the web. It works seamlessly with never a hiccup. This program resides on my desktop, laptop and netbook. I do not have, nor do I want a smartphone so I can't comment on its use in that capacity. If you download and start using this program you will wonder how you ever lived without it.

None. Perfection can't be improved upon.

Yes it works with office, yes it works on all sorts of devices.
Cons
The free 40MB is not even enough to test it properly. Dropbox gives you 2G for free and Box gives you 5G for free. Most of my files are bigger than 40MB.

I really like Evernote it Syncs great with my Android phone. I would love to use it.

Evernote and my Outlook have a conflict and I have had to delete Evernote, since I can't live without my Outlook working smoothly.

Clips web pages, handwritten notes, text and graphics (and I think audio; I haven't tried that)and organizes them perfectly according to your specifications. Very versatile. There are several apps to increase productivity and it synchronizes across devices. You can save anything from anywhere. I use it to keep track of my research, my writing projects, and my little bits of unrelated info. Simple and free, it is by far my favorite piece of software.

I have a lot of faith that this program will live up to its reputation once I can get it to work. If it were not for the reputation, I would have quit trying long ago.

During my first session exploring the program for the first time, my screen flickered, and suddenly all text and menus displayed unreadable Chinese (Japanese?) characters. I tried following instructions to fix the registry, but my registry doesn't include the sections I am supposed to update. Presumably I should close the program before attempting to make changes, but clicking the red X does not remove it from memory, and right-clicking the icon in the task bar only brings up another cryptic Chinese menu. I can't use the program. I reported the problem. I got no response. Then I received a notice that my ticket was being closed because there had been no communication in the last two weeks. I opened another support ticket, but in two weeks there have been no responses, though I have been checking daily.
Summary
I think the program will be very useful once I can get help getting it to display English instead of the cryptic and unreadable Chinese characters it currently displays. There does not appear to be any way to fix the inappropriate Chinese setting.
I'm sure its a good program, but it's only a source of frustration to me. -

No Evernote Supported Linux client. Deal breaker on getting the premium account for me.
Note Editor does not allow the changing of background color, just the font color.

OCR is hit and miss, mostly miss for me.Summary
While this is the best note tool for multi-platform support I have found, it is still needs work.
Adding todo with some form of alarm feature would be nice. -

I am very happy with Evernote. I had no idea it would be so much more than I expected. I recommend Evernote, give it a try, you will see all the great possibilities.
