Version: Evernote 3.0.0.625 beta
"I've found this really useful"
Pros: Easy to learn how to use, it saves new notes automatically, far more flexible than something like notepad, I use it as I would a pad on my desk, keeping links, quotes, cut and paste website articles/excerpts that I came across so as I can access them later on for work I am doing, virtually instant access to any notes you wish to make. Very easy to remove any notes too.
Cons: None so far, not that many bells and whistles if you're looking for an all dancing, all singing application, but I wanted something fairly simple with some flexibility, and this suits me fine as it is.

Version: Evernote 3.0.0.625 beta
Pros: Well, first of all, this FREE version includes already a lot of advanced options for comprehensive notekeeping!
You can add notes, assign them to different categories, even automated through filtering. You can easily add web content, at least with firefox (there even is an extension) or IE and go back to the original site. The interface looks really nice.
There are advanced options to find back specific notes
Cons: Well, one point for me is that adding content through Opera won't work, but that's really Opera's fault, they don't support drag 'n drop. Otherwise: none so far!!!

"Easy, versatile program - better than sticky notes all over your desktop"
Pros: Easy to use and very versatile. Many different kind of notes all in one place. My favorite feature is the find-as-you-type search feature. Copies clips from text, web, photos, spreadsheets, etc.
Cons: Need to pay $49.95 for shape- and handwriting-recognition features.

"Great Program for Research & Knowledge Mngt but need to improve its interface"
Pros: (1) I love its multiple categorisation (MCAT) ******* for each note. Great feature. MCAT could be added/edited/deleted, and provides better solution for research & knowledge management.
(2) It is useful to provide many templates. Great.
Cons: (1) It displays the notes in "Form View" only. But this just WASTES too many valuable display spaces. Some users may only want the notes to be shown in List View or in its subjects only. If the user wants to see the content of each note, just double-click its subject to open or single-click to show it content at the interface bottom. Similar to OUTLOOK 2003 interface.
(2) Please add the import / export function for the notes and categories.
(3) Time band could be cancelled to save spaces.

"Perfect, Best tool to keep information organized"
Pros: I tried OneNote and EverNote.
Both programs are great. You can assign categories to each note, clips info from websites or any other source and find anything you need. OneNote has better user interface, but it takes too much of computer resources. It is running in the background while indexing data. EverNote is much smaller and more efficient program. Assigning categories in EverNote is much easier. Its a winner and cost much less.
Cons: None
