Pros: I don't like Outlook at all, and had been using Thunderbird as my default e-mail client, but I thought I would give Eudora a test. Eudora smokes both of these in speed, security, and extra features. As far as speed goes, I right clicked on a couple of my paid programs and e-mailed them to my Yahoo account to save them in my folders,(they were each about 5 MB) and Eudora conected and sent them in about 10 seconds. I opened my Yahoo account and both apps were already my in my Yahoo Inbox...now that is fast! Try Eudora, it's free! I rate it 5 stars and two thumbs up!
Cons: Yes, the free version has some little ads, but they are not distracting.

Pros: In order to experiment the real benefit of this email client, you have to usi the paid version. The other versions are good, but the paid one is excellent.
The spam filter for the paid version is almost perfect. Usually you have to use a combination of two softwares (email client plus antispam tool) to manage spam. With the paid version you have the two working perfectly together. That makes the price fair.
There are other combinations that are free such as the adware version of Eudora plus Cactus... but somehow I don't feel something is "free" if I have to watch ads to use it.
Cons: Ads in non paid versions.
No spam filter in non paid versions.

Pros: Probably the best e-mail client available today! It does everything gracefully and professionally. It is my favourite e-mail client, along with DreamMail, which is free, but worth at least $90! if they were charging for it. High recommended for sure!
Cons: Better skins would spice it up.

Cons: I was hoping for a change from Windows Mail as WM in Vista it constantly is "Not Responding" on initial load. Eudora is useless, though. I thought I downloaded the "free" version, but come to find out there's different versions. You can have all sorts of features IF you let them display ads. The "Lite" version is less features, no ads. The problem is I see no way of creating an account. I thought by clicking under "Tools > Mailboxes" but nothing happens. I tried to look in help but get an error that Help could not be launched. I think I'll be downloading Thunderbird and trying that out. Just don't waste your time on Eudora.
