The best medical viewer and converter for the Mac (OS X and Classic), also available for Windows Me/2K/XP. EMV opens virtually any DICOM image file, folders containing DICOM files, and DICOMDIR and creates a Patient List; anonymizes DICOM files; displays thumbnails of all images in a series; allows for cine playback with user-defined frame rate; provides comfortable display of DICOM header data; exports frames, sequences and series into any image or movie format supported by QuickTime. EMV's folder view supports all QuickTime image formats and can display thumbnails and file info (incl. EXIF camera/photo information where available). Built for OS X, EMV is also optimized for G4 processors with Velocity Engine (Altivec).

What's new in this version: Fixed a bug in the handling of totally black gray-scale frames.
