    "Doesn't work -- "Completed with Errors""

    Pros

    Installs and un-installs quickly and cleanly.

    Cons

    Doesn't erase free space.

    Summary

    I've tried unsuccessfully many times to get this software to delete my free space using the Gutmann 35 Pass method, but whether I run it immediately or schedule it for a specific time, it always comes back within a few seconds and reports "Completed with Errors." There is about 250GB of free space on my drive, so I know it's not completing anything, just erroring.

    You need to stop the program and restart it with administrative privileges to erase free space
