  Summary: anonymous: your post did not rate the software download. It was simply bashing epson printers, about which you obviously know nothing. I have had my Epson color stylus 740i for over two years and it has worked flawlessly. I would recommend it or any of it's software for anyone who actually cares about the quality of their printing. It's the best bang for your buck, period.

  I have a C84 (since Sept04) which is out of color, but with 30% of (original) black - can't print. Told by Epson CustServ that they use color on "black only" printing so black will be correct color (?). Only printed color 3 times - once to test when new, once to print a single 4X6 photo and once to print a 3 page doc with minimum color just to be sure color jets didn't dry up.

  That sure appears to me to be design to assure we buy enough ink to keep cash flow high for Epson. Recommend if you don't print much color - buy something else.
