Version: EnterpriseTenFold SOA Personal Edition 2007.12
"The best product that never was"
Pros: I've been watching TenFold for years, and have downloaded every version of their personal edition for the past three years. The software was truly amazing.
Cons: Unfortunately, the company had financial problems and was acquired a couple of months ago. This week (August 10 or 11, 2008) their website disappeared, and their phone was disconnected. Don't get too attached to this software, because the company is no more!

TenFold is going strong. They have new phone numbers and the website was down for a very short period as they moved the server to the new data center.
If you were waiting to jump in, the company is finally financially secure and Versata is currently working on the new release.
(I am not a TenFold employee, but rather a TenFold customer. We're expanding our use of the platform and we love it). -
I appreciate your glowing review of the TenFold product. Thank you for your continued use. To address the status of the company, you are correct in some of your statements. Yes, TenFold entered into a troubled financial situation. Versata acquired TenFold and attempted to consolidate all of its servers in Austin. When it appeared eminent that the systems would turn on in Austin, everything was turned everything off in Salt Lake City. Obviously, we ran into many problems. If systems are not available by August 5, Versata will take measures to re-establish the data center in Salt Lake City. I am truly sorry for this situation and take personal responsibility for making a very bad decision. Versata is absolutely commited to the success of Tenfold. TenFold will make its first product release since the acquisition within the next several weeks and plans a release again before the end of the calendar year. TenFold is here to stay.
