Pros: After spending some time with Tenfold I can't help but wonder why this isn't in use all over the place. I just built an application to handle our recruiting activity in a day. I can save resumes to the database and launch them directly from my browser window. Seriously, this is good stuff and worth a try.
Cons: I get some weird errors that I can't do anything about, but they don't seem to be having an effect on my recruiting app.

Hey Dave, the TenFold Personal Edition just hit the street so I guess the word isn't really out yet. The product has been around for a long time, but this is the first time that it is free (and not a crippled version). I am building an application as well, but we are focused on the SOA/XML support in the product. Although being able to have your application instantly turned into a web app is very cool.
I have used a bunch of different 4GL's over the past couple of years, but they all require low level coding. Not this one.
I ran into a couple of places where I needed some help, too. If you didn't try the forum, you should. There is lots of good info on it and 'someone' is doing a good job of keeping an eye on the posts.
